Paradise Park
Public Park
Islington Council, Greenspace Division, wanted to rejuvenate this important public open space to promote wider access, increased use and create a family emphasis.
The concept, which we developed with Greenspace, was to create extensive state-of-the-art outdoor play facilities along with other sensitive interventions to enhance the park’s existing strengths.
Our hands-on detail design, implementation and project management role enabled Greenspace to provide a strategic role and freed them to develop further new projects.
- New state-of-the-art play facilities, palm trees and other interventions.
- The project also linked the new Sure Start Children’s Center to the new play area through the creation of a “public square”.
